One of Indonesia's top-notch metal bands, Seringai, have just released their latest single, Tragedi, taken from their upcoming new album, Taring (scheduled to be released later this year). You don't have to be a Seringai fan to like this track. If you love rock music or heavier stuff, you'll definitely gonna like or even love it.. The track's catchy, filled with a sing-along chorus, a punchy bassline, and even a surprising acoustic guitar part on the second chorus. The 4-piece Jakarta band have made their single available for FREE download on their website, seringai.com/tragedi.

Alex Turned and co. have just revealed a new track, Electricity, which will be released on vinyl in conjuction with Record Store Day (21 April), this Saturday, as the B-Side of the band's latest single, R U Mine?.

They were once a trio, then a quartet, and now back to being a trio again.. Losing a member isn't a bad thing for The Cribs, because they are now back to their all-Jarman original line-up, with the twins Gary and Ryan holding the axes, and their younger brother Ryan behind the drumset. Besides returning to a 3-man format, the Yorkshire lads have also made a return to their old sound, the rough garage-rock sound circa the band's self-titled and New Fellas album era. As a teaser of their new album, In The Belly of The Brazen Bull (scheduled to be released in 2012), the band have released a new track, titled Chi-Town, which have been available for FREE download.

Converse just can't stop wowing people with their "Three Artists. One Song." project. Not long after they released the track DoYaThing by Gorillaz + James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) + Andre 3000, Converse have just released a new track, Warrior, by Mark Foster (lead singer & songwriter of Foster The People), superstar DJ A-Trak, and Kimbra (rising New Zealand female indie-pop star, who features as the additional vocalist in Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know). Just like the other "Three Artists. One Song." project outputs, this one is quite a massive track as well, and if you're a synthpop fan, then you're in for an awesome treat. We talked a little bit about a singer-songwriter from Malaysia named Yuna around 8 months ago, about her being labelmates with British indie rock band Editors and indie pop duo Matt & Kim due to her being signed by New York City-based label, FADER. And now, 8 months after that post, she just made her first ever American national television appearance, on Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show, Conan.
On her US-national television debut, Yuna performed Live Your Live, the first single off her upcoming self-titled album, which is scheduled to be released some time later this month. The single is produced by superstar producer, Pharrell Williams, which (if we're not mistaken) makes Yuna to be the first South-East Asian musician to be produced by Skateboard P.

Australia is often overlooked as an exporter of good music, while there are actually plenty of great music being produced by great bands down there. San Cisco is one of many Australian bands that falls into that certain category. Although they are pretty new to the Australian music scene, but the Western Australian's band single, Awkward, have taken the nation by storm, with the track listed at number 7 in Triple J's Hottest 100 Tracks of 2011.

André Allen Anjos started his Remix Artist Collective (RAC) several years ago due to his frustration with the remix scene at the time, and a year after its existence, André Allen Anjos (as RAC) released his first remix mixtape. The mixtape consists of remixes of tracks originally performed by Bloc Party, Au Revoir Simone, Tokyo Police Club, Ra Ra Riot, and plenty others. This isn't exactly new news, but just in case if anybody missed out on the news earlier this year, The Killers' bassist, Mark Stoermer, have followed the footsteps of fellow The Killers bandmates, Brandon Flowers and Ronnie Vanucci, in terms of releasing a solo album. Stoermer's solo album, titled Another Life, was released in January 2012 (CD & vinyl) and at the end of last year (digital download only). The album was available as free download before it was released physically.
In general, Stoermer's debut album genre is somewhere along the lines of country and rock. One of the notable songs from the album is Everyone Loves The Girl. Check out the songs on the video player below
